I have owned the Powertech Bench w/ preacher curl attachment for nearly seven years now. While I am 5/11 180lbs strong and lean, I think the potential with this contraption is limitless. I started benching 160lbs max, and now up to 315lbs! It is fun to use and sturdy, I even use the pull down for doing 15 or so chin-pull ups when on the welded hooks!
Look out, the preacher curl will definately give you a work out. The physics are well though out, so you will find greater resistance with the leverages than the typical slider pulley systems.
My only complaints may be the older, "tombstone" shaped back support and seat, and I have had to replace the upper pulldown pully wheel and a few of the pads after about 4 years; that was the first model though. Xtra parts were sent at no charge.......
