Earlier this month I was seriously considering the Sole F80. However, at the time I was about to place my order, Sole was out of stock. I was really itching to get back into working out now, so I just didn\'t want to wait.
I did some more looking around and I found the Bodycraft TR1140. It\'s pretty much the same price and I had read some reviews for the model. Evidently, there is a lot of hype in this hp rating and Bodycraft rates all their HP lower than other company\'s do because they want to play this hype game. In fact I even called Bodycraft and spoke to a new manager there who confirmed this AND found out you can only power a 4 hp motor through a 110v 20amp residential circuit, so when they all start saying 5hp motors for your house it is BullSh*t and BodyCraft didnt want any part of this. COOl! A good straight shooting company. I checked this out with my brother who is an electrical engineer. In this case the TR1140 by Body Craft lists itself as having 2.25, but if they were to boost ratings like most companies do, the TR140 would rate closer to 3 or 3.25 hp. The running surface is even an inch longer than the Sole F80. Their warrany matches Sole and the construction is way more solid.
I decided that the TR1140 is what I would go with. I was not disappointed in the slightest! This treadmill is amazing! If you want something on par with or better than the F80, then check out the Bodycraft TR1140.
